Growing investment in Birmingham city centre has led to a raft of new instructions for GVA’s flourishing offices team. In the last two months alone GVA Grimley has been appointed to dispose of nearly 200,000 sq ft of prime city centre office space.
The largest of these lettings is the 70,000 sq ft Cannon House at Priory Queensway which will provide offices from the 1st to 6th floor and retail on the ground level.
GVA and Grenville Smith Duncan have been appointed joint letting agents by Nurton developments to dispose of the building which will undergo a major refurbishment to create a new identity.
Together, Grenville Smith Duncan and GVA are also disposing of the landmark Centre City building on Hill Street. The mixed-use Centre City location is one the team’s most significant projects, providing 40,000 sq ft of Grade A, serviced office space within close proximity of Bullring and Chinatown.

Space at Four Brindley Place is available now in suites from 2 - 5000 sq ft with up to 10 car parking spaces.
Charles Toogood of GVA Grimley commented: "We are seeing a significant increase in property investment in Birmingham city centre, with office purchases such as the Centre City tower deal on the rise."
He continued, "This is due to the weight of money in UK investment funds which many businesses are choosing to place into the active property market."
