Acquisitions can be in respect of a single property or portfolio programmes. Following confirmation of a detailed brief, we search for suitable properties, both on and off the market using an analytical approach and carry out accompanied inspections of a relevant short list. Negotiations are progressed in respect of the short listed properties, analysing cost differentials on a net present value basis. We always take the lead in negotiations and when terms have been agreed, instruct and work closely with the client’s lawyers to ensure that legal documents accurately reflect the terms agreed.
